November 2025
:There is plenty of movement in the heavens this month with Mercury and Jupiter stationing retrograde in the first half of the month, while at the end of the month Saturn will join Pluto by stationing direct and Mercury will join them on the 30th .
The New Moon in Scorpio on the 20th is part of a kite pattern and falls very close to Mercury’s inferior conjunction with the Sun and the 2nd hit of Uranus sextile Neptune falls on the 21st .

We may also be challenged to review:
- the affairs of the house where the retrograde action takes place in your horoscope [20 Scorpio to 6 Sagittarius].
- Any planets any points that fall between these degrees of early mutable and late fixed degrees, especially those close to the Inferior Conjunction [when Mercury conjuncts the Sun and heralds a new cycle] degree of around 28 degrees of Scorpio.
The whole retrograde phase is a potent time for reflection and review … a time when we can become aware of habitual beliefs and thought patterns and make the adjustments necessary to align our thinking with the person we are now. This is a great time to meditate, reflect, research, seek answers, sort out your paperwork, return calls and generally attend to all the things you have been too busy to do earlier.
Remember, Mercury retrograde always provides us with the opportunity to free our thinking from habitual ruts and develop a more conscious set of mental attitudes and beliefs.

Full Moon in Taurus on November 6 at 13 Taurus
The Taurus Full Moon is the second – and largest - of three full moon Supermoons that occur in a row. They get this name as they appear bigger than the usual Full Moon and can appear quite a bit brighter as they are closer to the earth than usual. Energetically it can impact on lunar sensitive people [as we are 70% liquid], so beware this effect and reacting or overreacting to emotional triggers.
This full moon has few aspects to it besides a sextile to the North Node so it will mainly impact on people with planets close to 13 Taurus and its opposite sign of Scorpio, plus anyone who is particularly sensitive to the energy of the Moon.

Taurus is the builder of the zodiac and is a practical and earthy sign. It challenges us all to build tangible structures, to have without hoarding and to honor our bodies and our senses in a constructive way. We may need to reflect on these concerns around this time as well as our values and security, what is ours and what we need to share.
New Moon on November 20 at 28 Scorpio
This New Moon falls at 28 Scorpio and has quite a few aspects to it, suggesting it may be quite powerful, especially for people with planets around late degrees of fixed signs, especially Scorpio. The New Moon is forming a kite configuration with a conjunction with Mercury at its inferior conjunction and a grand trine to Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune, with an opposition to Uranus. A kite is formed from a grand trine [a very creative and supportive image] with an opposition [Uranus] that must find its expression as it had the potential to keep us grounded.

A kite is formed from a grand trine [a very creative and supportive image] with an opposition [Uranus] that must find its expression as it had the potential to keep us grounded.
This New Moon may impact on our thinking and how we express ourselves if we have the courage to make needed changes as Mercury, the Messenger God and planet to do with how we think, speak and communicate makes its inferior conjunction about 3 hours after the New Moon is conjunct the Sun and Moon. Uranus is only a degree away from an exact opposition as the tail of the kite, demanding attention. This means the New Moon may also act as a trigger for events and insights for people experiencing Uranus transits, especially to planets around late degrees of fixed signs and very early degrees of mutable signs – Scorpio, Taurus, Leo and Aquarius as well as Sagittarius Gemini, Pisces and Virgo.
Uranus suggests the need to make changes, break free and live life truer to our Self. Sometimes if we are not heeding these calls Uranus can create a bit of chaos to speed us along our path. It emphasizes a collective instability and the call to change and awaken to new possibilities. We need to beware of impulsive and erratic behavior that may be destructive while remaining open to new perspectives that can be liberating. Try to press the pause button if you feel like reacting and consider any sudden impulses …if you can.
On more fundamental level, the Scorpio New Moon will highlight the affairs of the house where 28 degrees of Scorpio falls and may challenge us with issues around intimacy, sharing, power, control, trust, and safety. Scorpio’s reputation for control is a fear-based reaction of ‘holding on’ while the challenge is to ‘let go’ control and learn to trust in the Self and allow the free flowing of feeling. The opposition with Uranus is inviting us to look at these patterns and perhaps make some changes.
Uranus sextile Neptune: Exact November 21 for the second time.
In August this year included this information as a counterbalance to all the pain and chaos in the world at the moment.
Uranus will sextile Neptune for the 2nd of 5 transits on November 21 and suggests some potentially positive shifts and breakthroughs in the collective, especially in the area of technology.
Here is a list of 5 major transits that can play a positive role in our personal and collective evolution over the next few years:
Uranus sextile Neptune is part of the Uranus Neptune Cycle which lasts about 171 years. The current cycle began in 1992 at 16 Capricorn.
This cycle is said to be highly creative and associated with innovation and the idealization of the intellect and technological invention. It suggests the possibility of breakthroughs and new visions of how technology can be used and how society can evolve.
We are currently at the waxing sextile, a time of new possibilities. Alexander Ruperti talked of what must be learned is how to use the power from Uranian changes [especially technological inventions and new forms of thinking] for the benefit of all. Hence we can see the potential for breakthroughs in technology that serve humanity rather than just those in power as well as the potential for renewed idealism.
Some writers have suggested it is also where spirituality meets science ...excting!
