1. Jupiter made its annual change of sign on June 30, to Leo , where it will stay for the next year.
Jupiter’s transit through Leo will highlight – and magnify – all things associated with the sign. As Jupiter represents the Principle of Growth and Expansion, this can play out productively or excessively.
This transit may inspire you in the following ways regards the house[s] and planets being activated.to
· explore your capacity for creativity and self-expression
· step into the limelight in some way that satisfies a need for recognition and appreciation
· perhaps take on a position of leadership
· find ways and opportunities to become more playful, have more fun.
With Jupiter in Leo there is always the possibility of getting a bit carried away! Pay attention to the shadow side of Leo which can become attention seeking and autocratic.
Collectively this may shift emphasis to mundane Leo concerns such as pleasure and places of pleasure, theater, the Arts, music, movies [stars], sports and children; and place the spotlight on performers, leaders and royalty.
Note: All of this is set against the backdrop of Pluto trine Uranus and sextile Neptune, Uranus sextile Neptune,
PLUS Jupiter opposition Pluto, sextile Uranus, trine Neptune and square to Chiron ...all opportunities for major personal and collective shits.
2. Mercury Retrograde: June 30 to July 24
Mercury entered the retrograde loop on June 13 and stationed retrograde on June 30, the same day that Jupiter entered Leo and the full moon occurred in Capricorn. Retrograde Mercury will transit backwards from 26 Cancer to 16 Cancer and make its inferior conjunction [start of a new cycle] with the Sun on July 13 at 20 Cancer.
Anyone with planets from around 16 to 26 degrees of cardinal signs [Cancer, Capricorn, Aries and Libra] will have Mercury trigger them 3 times in a challenging aspect, activating a time of re-evaluation and review. Things may slow down, particularly in the area of life symbolized by the house [s] where 16 to 26 degrees Cancer falls in your personal horoscope. If this happens, use the time to reflect on what may need to change, and what thoughts and beliefs you may be operating from that no longer serve you.
The New Moon occurs the day after the Inferior Conjunction so July 13 to 14 is an opportune time for reflection not only about this area of our life but also some of our fear-based patterns and set some new intention …read on for information about the New Moon.

3. New Moon Super Moon on July 14 at close to 22 Cancer
This New Moon falls at close to 22 Cancer, and is conjunct Mercury retrograde, and square to Saturn, acting as a trigger for those of you who are having Saturn transits, although the orb to Saturn from the New Moon is nearly 8 degrees.
Saturn may activate our inner critic and we may find this mirrored externally but this is a powerful time for reflection with Mercury retrograde [just after the possible insights of the inferior conjunction] to reflect on what we may need to take responsibility for that we may have been avoiding. Saturn also invites us to explore our own limited and limiting beliefs about ourselves and life in general and take some steps to move forward. Saturn is always an invitation to act so reflect on what you can do or start to set steps in motion to reclaim your power from any fears that may have arisen.
Some of this concern may be around family and security. Cancer New Moons always evoke strong emotional currents and invite us to reflect on family, the past and our emotional connections and bonds as they stimulate the Cancer archetype and all things ruled by this watery and emotional sign. This is a potent time to meditate on what nurtures us and how well we are meeting our needs for connection and belonging. We may feel called to do some ‘nesting’ and explore new ways of feeling safe, nurtured and contained
4. Full Moon of July 29 at 6 Aquarius 30
This full moon falls at close to 6 Aquarius and forms a fixed and tight T-square with Pluto conjunct the full moon in Aquarius, opposed by Jupiter conjunct the Sun in Leo, and all squared by Chiron in Taurus at the apex. Anyone with planets around 3 to 6 degrees of fixed signs will feel this strongly as it will act as a trigger for the transits of Pluto and Jupiter.
This is quite a complex pattern and on a personal level it holds images of grief and possible power struggles with the shadow [Pluto] perhaps being part of the story. Something uncomfortable may need to be faced and accepted [Chiron], perhaps a loss or a betrayal by others or of the Self. If this can be navigated, then it may provide a moment of truth that can be transformative and healing for ourselves and our relationships.
The full Moon in Aquarius always suggests the challenge to balance our needs for self-expression with our needs for community and being part of something larger than the ego.
