April 2026 Newsletter

I am revisiting both the Saturn Neptune Conjunction and Uranus’ ingress to Gemini but can only touch on the may ways these two transits are impacting on our lives, collectively and personally.

So is much happening in the world out there, but please remember to choose love over fear and be kind to yourself and to others.

Best wishes

Christine 🙏🏼

Saturn Neptune Brief Update

Neptune settled into Aries where it will stay for the next 14 or so years on January 27 this year, and Saturn joined him on February 14, and then caught up with Neptune on February 21 at 0 Aries, forming a conjunction and heralding the beginning of a new Saturn Neptune Cycle. The energy of this new cycle is very evident at the moment.

This transit symbolizes turning points in history. It can test and dissolve the institutions, rules and structures that serve our world and we can see:
  • Empires collapse
  • Boundaries and borders dissolve
  • Ideologies, governments, global institutions and economies can all dissolve and a vacuum arise for a period of time.

We are in the eye of a storm at the moment, a time of massive change in our world. We are all waiting to see what the new world order will look like, but it may take time to evolve. Ultimately this dissolution can create space for something new, but we need patience and self-care to sit with global, and sometimes personal, chaos.

Remember, as things dissolve [Neptune], or are tested [Saturn], we need to grieve as we wait for something new to fill the void. We also need to be mindful that Neptune can symbolize anxiety and Saturn depression, so we need to take care of ourselves and our loved ones, and practice self-care and compassion.

There are several supportive aspects to this conjunction that I have mentioned before, but it seems timely to mention them again as they create the potential for positive changes. Pluto and Uranus will trine each other 5 times over the next few years and both will sextile Saturn and Neptune this year, plus there will be 10 exact hits of Neptune sextile Puto from 2026 to 2032. All of these aspects suggest possible breakthroughs along with the potential for new insights and inventions in all areas of life and will blossom more fully around mid-year.

Uranus to Gemini on April 26

Uranus first entered Gemini on July 7, 2025, then retrograded back into Taurus on November 8, and will settle back into Gemini on April 26 2026 where it will stay for the next several years.

Whenever a transpersonal planet [Uranus, Neptune and Pluto] changes sign it impacts on the collective psyche and with Uranus finally settling in Gemini all the outer planets will be in yang signs, creating a collective impatience and desire or perhaps even a need [evolutionary] for action. Everything is speeding up and this can be stressful, especially if we are more earthy or watery!

Uranus is identified with the principle of change and is now shifting his focus to outdated structures, beliefs and philosophies in the realm of Gemini. His action is often confronting and challenging and can become chaotic and disruptive when we resist the change that our soul demands. The last time Uranus was in Gemini 1941 - 2 to 1948 when the world was being challenged by a number of shadowy tyrants – Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin – and we also saw the birth of a new World Vision with the United Nations …and many new interventions that made life a lot easier, at least in the Western world.

With Uranus moving into Gemini all this energy will come to be focused on things associated with this sign. Look to the house where Gemini is found in your own chart to understand more about how this may affect you and beware that Uranus will move through the first 6 degrees of Uranus this year. This suggests that it will impact:
  • The house [s] where the first 6 degrees of Gemini are found
  • Any planets or points in the first 6 degrees of mutable signs will be challenged to change and become more authentic [Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces]
  • Any planets or points in the first 6 degrees of the other yang signs [Libra, Aquarius; Aries and Leo] will be challenged more gently.

Here is a list of the areas of life under the domain of Gemini which will be areas where we may see significant changes in the collective, however at the moment it seems that the impact of AI is where humanity is being called to adapt along with challenges to trade and the authority of the United Nations from Donald Trump.  All this is reinforced with the new Saturn Neptune Cycle.

Gemini is associate with the following phenomena and this is where we will, and are, seeing changes at a global, collective level.
  • Communications
  • Education – learning [AI]
  • Trade [tariffs, new trade blocks]
  • Transport [shift to EV]
  • Travel [disruption at the moment]
  • Treaties [new alliances]

With Pluto now in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini It does suggest major social and political changes that may see a rise in the polarization of viewpoints. With Gemini being a mutable sign, the danger is not to polarize or split into us and them [right and left, good and bad] but to keep the lines of communication open and embrace the positive Gemini aspect of curiosity about different groups, cultures and ideologies and internally with parts of self. Hopefully we can all find ways to disagree without bitterness and hatred pulling us away from core heart values of kindness, compassion and respect for all.

The choice is always ours [and of course humanity as a collective] whether the energy is used constructively or destructively. History tells us that there will probably be expressions of both polarities.

Full Moon at 12 Libra: April 2

Easter always falls on the Sunday after the Full Moon that occurs on or after the Equinox, hence Easter Sunday falls on April 5 after the full moon on April 2.

This Full Moon in Libra forms the handle of a bucket formation and it seems to be a timely reminder to remember the Libran gifts of diplomacy, compromise, fairness and capacity for objectivity in a very polarized environment. We are all reminded to balance the independent, active and sometimes impatient and aggressive energies of the currently dominant Aries  with the more ‘other’ focused perspective of Libra which has a concern for what is fair for all. The Sun in this chart is conjunct Saturn and in a wide conjunction to Neptune, bringing in all the themes of the Saturn Neptune conjunction.

New Moon at 27 Aries: April 17

This New Moon is the first of five Supermoons with the closest one to Earth being in June.

The chart contains a tight conjunction to both Chiron and Eris and a wide square from Pluto. It is also part of a stellium in Aries which includes Neptune, Mercury, Mars, Saturn, Chiron, Eris, and the Sun and Moon. Six of the ten planets are here, seven if we include Chiron and eight if we include Eris.  Uranus is also at the final [anaretic] degree of Taurus ready to move into Gemini. This is quite a combustible image but we can also see it as the potential for a new start, a rebirth from the previous chaos. Personally, Aries is pushing us to be true to ourselves and find outlets that nurture our individuality and need for freedom and space.

Picture
The conjunction with Chiron suggests that we may need to attend to the wounds we carry personally and collectively around the Aries archetype.  This may involve owning and accepting any wound[s] we carry, especially about being who and what we are.  We need to see the bigger picture and to move beyond the limiting stories that we tell ourselves. We may feel called upon to claim and reassess our Inner Warrior and find a healthy way to assert ourselves as well as finding ways to become more authentic and self-accepting especially of things we feel limit and restrict us.

Eris is a loud voice at the moment. She highlights issues in both our personal lives and the collective around:
  • The need to face inconvenient truths.
  • The need for difficult decisions.
  • The need for strong and inclusive leadership.
  • The need to face the banished and exiled parts of self as well as the need to hear the voices of those who have been banished and marginalized.

The danger here is for chaos to emerge along with:
  • Competition over scarce resources
  • Using underhand means to get ‘our share’.
  • Desire for revenge on those who we feel have excluded us from decision making.

All this sounds very relevant with the world at the moment and it may require us all to work with our shadows and not contribute to the chaos.
May the Goddess & God Bless You All
